Well, we had just read a short information about a new built-in car GPS which is prepared by one of the famous GPS manufacture “TomTom“. Based on the information that spread in several website that usually write about GPS system development, TomTom is announcing their new project of integrating their new GPS navigation system into Fiat’s new city car that will be launched in North America. The car is called the Fiat 500 series.

TomTom didn’t give the GPS serial number or type but they are promising to make this new GPS tracking device complete with a full integration GPS system with ability to show the detail information of car condition such as: low fuel warnings, synchronization of settings including controlling the steering wheel buttons, dead reckoning, and display the media player.

TomTom introducing the Blue&Me new integrated car GPS with instant and continuous routing, enhanced voice-control and commands. It has wider 4.3-inch glass touchscreen and features text-to-speech, lane guidance, Quick GPSfix system. This portable GPS tracking device, will ready to be installed on Fiat 500 next year (2012). And according to the source, TomTom’s 2012 Fiat 500 integrated GPS will able to be installed into a portable device for another vehicle if necessary.
